Mammograms are unsafe

"Mammograms  - Breast X-rays - are unsafe !!!"

The Cochrane’s Collaboration (CC) is the gold standard for accurate and unbiased medical research.  CC findings are accepted by the medical profession as gospel.

CC carried out extensive studies into the benefits of women having mammograms.  Their findings are nothing short of staggering and scandalous.

CC findings show that

  1. Mammograms have a high false positive and a high false negative pick-up rate.
  2. Mammograms pick up breast tumours that are unlikely to cause a woman much harm to her long life.
  3. Mammograms are unlikely to pick up the really dangerous breast cancers.
  4. Mammograms actually cause breast cancer.

I would like to add some final observations of my own.  Cancer may not be present when the woman has her mammogram, but may appear at some time after and between mammograms.  These will be missed by the mammogram.

With the dramatic increase in the incidence of breast cancer in women, and considering how nasty and disfiguring Breast cancer can be .....  it is scandalous that there is no active and dedicated research to finding the causes of breast cancer and getting rid of those, before any more women suffer with this awful disorder.
